What does it mean to lead with gratitude, reciprocity, and courage in times of crisis?

At the Chicago Humanities Fall Festival, Indigenous scientist, botanist, and bestselling author Robin Wall Kimmerer shared powerful Something powerful is taking shape in the Valley. 

Last week, a small circle of women gathered to help design a new model for advancing women’s leadership in Phoenix — one rooted in collective power, local design, and shared ownership.

There’s a powerful energy that fills the room when women leaders come together.

It’s in the conversations between sessions, the shared stories over coffee, the knowing nods that say “I’ve been there too.”

Many of us we Today is Disabled Women’s Equal Pay Day, the day when disabled women finally catch up to what non-disabled men earned last year.

On average, disabled women earn just 58 cents for every dollar.
