The Power To Change What Happens When Women’s Health Stops Being a Whisper

Talking about things most people were taught not to is literally my day job. Vaginal health. Odor. Intimacy. These are the kinds of topics that still make people whisper, and honestly, that’s exactly why we’re loud and proud about them at Happy V.

Every day, women reach out with stories that stop me in my tracks. They’ve been told by doctors their symptoms were “probably stress,” or made to feel embarrassed about something completely normal happening with their bodies. Some have even been shamed by partners who don’t understand what an unbalanced microbiome is. Those stories remind me why our work matters, because if we’re not speaking up, we’re letting the stigma win.

When we were shaping Happy V’s mission, I knew it had to be more than a product line. It needed to be a space where women could feel heard and supported. Education, community, and real talk became our foundation, and over time, that evolved into a movement.

It hasn’t always been easy. A lot of our content around sex, hygiene, and intimacy still gets flagged on social media. It’s wild that in 2025, we’re fighting algorithms just to say the word vaginal. But instead of backing down, we got creative, using little “hacks” like ‘v@ginal’ and ‘seggs’ to make sure our message reached the women who needed it. It’s a small example of how determined our team is to keep these conversations going.

Inside our company, that same energy shows up every day, through empathy, collaboration, and women lifting each other up. I’m especially inspired by our CEO, Daniella Levy, whose honesty about her own health journey turned vulnerability into leadership.

When women are given space to speak without judgment, it doesn’t just build a brand; it builds a movement.
