Silent Auction. The 5th Year Anniversary Summer Silent Auction is an effective way everyone can be directly involved in the mission of Take The Lead, as participation will make programs such as the 50 Women Can Change The World in different fields including finance, healthcare, journalism and non-profits possible. The Silent Auction also makes possible the award-winning weekly newsletter and the new podcast, Take The Lead Women, hosted by Gloria Feldt, co-founder and president of Take The Lead.
A top featured item from the array of more than 150 items including professional coaching, artwork, jewelry, accessories, experiences, health and fitness and fashion, is a lunch with Academy Award-nominated actress and producer Kathleen Turner and Take The Lead President Gloria Feldt, donated by Kathleen Turner.
Valued at $20,000, Feldt has donated a full-day of a 9 Leadership Power Tools Workshop at your company, led by Feldt. Take the Lead's full day, results-driven training is what you need to advance the women in your organization through the leadership pipeline by providing new thinking about power that women embrace with confidence while learning breakthrough skills and leadership tools and making a plan to use them.
Other items include two tickets to the Broadway hit show, "What The Constitution Means To Me," as well as tickets and packages from the Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks. A three-bedroom home on Cape Cod Bay can be yours for one week, as well as other offerings including financial planning, a Covey Club membership, book mentorship and m ore. Artwork by Leon Silver, Claudia DeMonte, Patricia Sannit and others round out the silent auction offerings.
Take The Lead Women Podcast. The series, which reflects Take the Lead’s mission to inspire women and showcase role models, will be available on all leading platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify. It complements the nonprofit’s training and coaching services for organizations and individuals, with the goal of achieving gender parity in leadership by 2025.
“Wherever I go, I’ve been asked to start a podcast, so I’m thrilled about this launch,” says Feldt. “Our goal is to address the needs of women looking for tools and inspiration to advance their careers. And because we know how busy they are, we’re offering short episodes chockfull of role models who let us see what we can be, as well as insights to expand women’s ability to embrace their power. Take The Lead Women’s audience will walk away with actionable information that they can immediately implement in their own lives.”
"I'm delighted to share my interviews with so many fabulous people in this podcast,” Feldt adds.
