The Power To Start Over Without Starting From Nothing

I began my career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Singapore Airlines, working in an environment where precision, structure, and accountability shaped every decision. Aviation trained me to communicate clearly, follow systems, and solve problems methodically. I expected to build my entire professional life there, but the pandemic forced a halt I could not control. The industry stalled, and suddenly, so did the path I had spent years pursuing.
What first felt like a setback became the moment I reconsidered what I wanted my work to stand for.
I turned back to something I had been doing quietly on the side: writing, shaping messages, and helping people articulate ideas that mattered. One project led to another until I realized the shift had already happened. I moved fully into PR and communications and built TargetLink, my consultation-first practice focused on helping founders, executives, and business coaches communicate with clarity and intention.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: visibility is not noise. It is structure, alignment, and the ability to express value in a way people immediately understand. Many of the coaches and leaders I work with already have strong expertise—they simply need someone to help translate that expertise into messaging that resonates.
Today, I support business coaches, innovators, and emerging leaders by providing communication frameworks, media positioning, and opportunities that reflect their goals. I approach PR using the mindset aviation taught me: create systems, maintain precision, and build long-term credibility instead of short-term hype.
My story isn’t about reinvention for the sake of change. It is about recognizing that nothing was wasted—not the discipline of engineering, the structure of aviation, nor the quiet years of writing. I didn’t start over from zero; I built from everything that brought me here.
